Idle Chatter: 'Big Love,' Sully the Poet, Hulu Friends

-HBO has apologized to Mormons for an upcoming episode of Big Love, which includes a depiction of an endowment ceremony. Some Mormons had called for a boycott, saying the ceremony was too sacred to be used in an entertainment series. [Reuters]

-Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, the pilot who safely landed his stalled passenger jet in the Hudson River, has his book deal: a memoir plus a book of poetry, to William Morrow, for $3.2 million. [TDB]
