'Portfolio' Gets Results! Douthat in at 'NY Times'
Mixed Media readers, take a moment and marvel at your own power.
Back in November, I asked you to vote on whom The New York Times ought to hire to replace Bill Kristol when his one-year contract writing for the op-ed page came to an end. You overwhelmingly said it should be Ross Douthat, a young conservative writer for The Atlantic and co-author of Grand New Party: How Republicans Can Win the Working Class and Save the American Dream.
Well, Andrew Rosenthal, the Times's editorial-page editor, just announced who will fill the Monday slot that previously belonged to Kristol. Yup: It's Ross Douthat.
Andy, you're welcome.
