'NY Post' Chimp Cartoon Still a Hot Topic

For better or worse -- and knowing the New York Post, I suspect they regard it as better -- Sean Delonas's cartoon tying Travis the berserk chimp to Barack Obama's stimulus plan is generating a lot of interest. As of this moment, five of the top 100 searches on Google Hot Trends pertain to the story: "new york post chimp cartoon" (No. 24), "monkey cartoon (No. 28), "chimpanzee cartoon" (No. 47), "obama cartoon (No. 54) and "ny post monkey cartoon" (No. 63).

How many of those searches are coming from inside the building? The Huffington Post reports that many Post employees are upset over the cartoon, and one senior editor has lodged a formal objection.
