Idle Chatter: SAG Devours Its Own, more

-The board of the Screen Actors Guild has ousted the union's executive director, Doug Allen, who had been pushing for SAG to take a hard line in its negotiations with the producers' association over digital revenues. [DHD]

-The Senate has agreed to postpone the transition to digital over-the-air television signals, now scheduled to take place next month, until June. For that to happen, however, the Senate's bill will still have to be reconciled with a version passed by the House. [B&C]
