Late Breaks: Hey, Remember That Inauguration?

-The layoffs just keep coming at the Los Angeles Times. The next round will take place by mid-March. [LAObserved]

-During its inauguration coverage, CNN aired a commercial for a movie showing a sniper shooting a politician before a large crowd. Infelicitous. [Politico]

-Meanwhile, MSNBC is "the network that has opened its heart to change," according to Chris Matthews. Mr. Matthews, President Obama thanks you for sticking to campaign-approved language. [TVNewser]. □
