Late Breaks: Bret after Brit; 'Post'-'Sun' Pact

-Fox News has named a replacement for Brit Hume, who retires at the end of the year. Chief White House correspondent Bret Baier will take over as anchor of Special Report. [TVNewser]

-The Washington Post and Baltimore Sun have entered into a content-sharing agreement. It will mostly involve news about the state of Maryland and sports. [WaPo]

-The New York County Supreme Court has dismissed a $100 million lawsuit by former Simon & Schuster publisher Dick Snyder, who said that Edgar Bronfman Jr. had backed out of an agreement to cut him in on the proceeds from his purchase of Warner Music. [Reuters]. □
