Ted Turner: Rupert and I Are Square These Days

Happy Ted Turner day! The CNN founder's autobiography, Call Me Ted, is out today, and it's everywhere. Turner wrote it with the help of Bill Burke, a former Turner Broadcasting executive who'd never written a book before. It comes out amid a rash of billionaire biographies, including those of Warren Buffett, T. Boone Pickens and, soon, Rupert Murdoch. AP snagged an early copy and broke the embargo two days ago.

Speaking of Murdoch, Turner, in a 60 Minutes profile that aired last night, says his long-running rivalry with the News Corp. chairman has lost its bitterness. "I've made peace with Rupert," he said. "We had lunch together a few months ago. Now there's not anybody I don't like."
