Idle Chatter: Time Inc. CEO Feeling Depressed

-The Economist has endorsed Barack Obama for president, joining an avalanche of newspapers that have done the same. [Economist]

-Time Inc. CEO Ann Moore told a lunch gathering yesterday that conditions in the advertising market are "looking like 1931." So much for keeping up morale. [Folio]
