'Times' Gives Wedding Gift to Fox Biz Bride
Fox Business host Rebecca Gomez doesn't want you to know she's a cougar.
Gomez, cohost of Happy Hour, got married over the weekend to telecommunications consultant Brett Diamond. But while Diamond's age -- 31 -- is included in their New York Times wedding announcement, Gomez's is not. (According to public records, she's 41.)
A Times spokeswoman says the paper's Styles-section reporters always ask their subjects ages when writing wedding announcements, and "nearly always" print them. She didn't say why Gomez's age wasn't included, and a Fox Business spokeswoman didn't reply to an inquiry.
But remember how, when Fox News's Megyn Kelly got hitched in March, the Times conveniently forget to mention it was her second marriage, despite a policy of always doing so? I'm starting to think someone over there is sweet on those foxy Fox gals. □
