Poll: Is New 'Times' Format Harder to Read?
As a lot of you have probably already realized, The New York Times switched to a new, money-saving format yesterday: What used to be Metro is now found in the A section under the heading "New York"; meanwhile, today is the first day that sports coverage appears in the business section. (Sports will continue to be a standalone Saturday through Monday.)
The Times promises nothing is being lost, just relocated. But people who still read newspapers in print are almost by definition creatures of habit. My copy is 2,500 miles away, so I'm hoping you can tell me how big a deal the change really is.
