Idle Chatter: Fox Biz Shows Up, Shown Up

-As the credit crisis peaked Monday, Fox Business finally passed the viewership threshold where its audience became measurable to Nielsen. It averaged about 81,000 viewers that day, versus 900,000 for CNBC. Come Tuesday, Fox Business was back in the unmeasured zone. [NYT]

-Speaking of milestones, Google is shopping for an ad agency, its first. [WSJ]

-Stephen Colbert co-stars in an upcoming issue of The Amazing Spider-Man -- and in Spidey-world, he's still running for president. [AP]

-People are still offering tributes to the dear, departed New York Sun. This one is actually mostly just an attack on the Times. [NYP]

-Alpha Media is shipping out its back-office operations to Tennessee, a move that will leave 50-plus employees here in New York without jobs. [NYP]
