Breaking: McCain Seeks Debate Delay

Forget about trying to forecast the ratings for Friday's presidential debate -- it might not happen. John McCain is asking Barack Obama and the Commission on Presidential Debates to reschedule the first of their three face-offs so that the two senators can return to Washington and focus on solving the economic crisis, reports AP.

McCain says he'll suspend campaigning starting tomorrow to give his full attention to economics. But that's tomorrow; today, it was business as usual with his campaign releasing a new attack ad and a longer web video accusing Obama of failing to lead. Gotta get those jabs in while you can. □
