Cultural Literacy Too Much to Ask at 'NY Post'
From Adam Buckman's New York Post review of tonight's Heroes season premiere:
[T]his show, which was once so thrilling and fun, has become full of itself, its characters spouting crazy nonsense. Here's one I wish someone would translate for me: "There's a divinity that shapes our ends - rough hew them how we will," spouts the enigmatic industrialist Linderman played by Malcolm McDowell, who should win an Emmy for keeping a straight face while reciting these lines.
Seriously, right? I mean, what kind of pretentious goober would write that kind of claptrap?
