-Oopsie! Shares in United Airlines took a plunge after the Florida Sun-Sentinel accidentally republished, on its website a six-year-old Chicago Tribune story about the company's entry into bankruptcy. [Marketwatch]

-A judge has ruled in favor of Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling's claim that a fan's reference book based on her series violated her copyright. [NYT]

-The New York Times Co. is shutting down its distribution arm, City and Suburban, eliminating some 550 jobs in the process. [NYT]
