Idle Chatter: McCain vs. CNN, Brownridge to 'OK'

-John McCain canceled an interview with Larry King to punish CNN for Campbell Brown's stubborn refusal to let a McCain spokesman vamp his way out of answering a tough question. [The Page] -So much for all that hot air about wanting a more relaxed lifestyle. Fresh out of running Alpha Media, Kent Brownridge is taking a new job with OK. [NYP] -David Letterman says he feels for Jay Leno. [NYT] -Stephenie Meyer is putting her Twilight series of vampire books on hold, and she won't resume writing until you internet kids learn some respect. [WSJ]. □
