Scarborough Losing Patience with MSNBC-ers
Is MSNBC's ever-more-liberal orientation starting to wear on token Republican Joe Scarborough? Fresh off an awkward confrontation with Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, Scarborough got personal with correspondent David Shuster (he of the "Chelsea Clinton's being pimped out" flap) during an argument over the Iraq war on today's Morning Joe.
First, Scarborough mocked Shuster's claim to be an independent rather than a Democrat -- "I bet everyone at MSNBC has 'Independent' on their voting cards. Oh, we're down the middle now!"; then he chastised his colleague for repeatedly failing to show up for Morning Joe broadcasts. "You didn't show up three times in a row. Three times you slept through your alarm and not came [sic] on this show," he huffed.
Watch for yourself. The verbal head-butting starts at about 1:20.
