'New York' Happy to Run 'Bad' 'Gossip Girl' Ad

Is there a word that means the opposite of "synergy"? On page 19 of this week's New York, Gossip Girl creator Josh Schwartz describes how he feels about network's ad campaign for his show, which uses the condemnations of family-values pressure groups in place of ad copy. "It feels bad. It's wrong," says Schwartz. "I don't want anything to do with it."
