Idle Chatter: Those Other 15 Will Be Fired Later

-The cuts at the Los Angeles Times didn't go quite as deep as they threatened to, with only 135 jobs being eliminated, versus a forecast of 150. What a huge morale boost! [LAT]

-How's this for synergy: NBC's news division will televise a town hall meeting addressing the "controversy" surrounding The Baby Borrowers, the NBC reality show where emotionally deficient parents loan out their young children to teenage caregivers. [TV Decoder]
