-The approval of Sirius and XM's merger is all but a done deal, with the F.C.C.'s third Republican commissioner expected to vote in favor. [NYT, WSJ]

-Forced to choose between probable bankruptcy and handing over a chunk of their equity to creditors, American Media's owners are leaning towards the latter. [NYP]

-The rapper 50 Cent is suing Taco Bell for using his name in an incredibly stupid marketing campaign without his permission, which he probably wouldn't have given anyway, since the campaign was so very stupid. [Reuters]

-Arianna Huffington says recruitment for Off The Bus, her citizen-journalism initiative, is way up since Mayhill Fowler scored her double scoop on the campaign trail. [NYT]. □
