Idle Chatter: Sulzberger, Hannity, 'Esquire,' more

-New York Times publisher Arthur Sulzberger Jr. knows it was a mistake to bring that damned stuff moose to that meeting, okay? [Ad Age]

-CNBC's Erin Burnett, who signed a new three-year contract last week, is "the ultimate growth stock," according to her boss. [NYT]

-Lee Siegel's take on The New Yorker's Obama cover shows he's not just humorless but unoriginal, too. A thought bubble, Lee? That's so last Tuesday. [NYT]

-Speaking of that cover, rumors that Barack Obama is an unpatriotic Muslim who hates freedom and long weekends are getting more coverage than ever. [PEJ]

-And speaking of patriotism, Sean Hannity is such a big, fat patriot, it takes two radio networks just to carry him. [WSJ]
