Idle Chatter: 'Today' vs. 'GMA,' Anderson vs. Greta

-NBC Universal is buying the Weather Channel with backing from Bain Capital and the Blackstone Group. As predicted, it fetched about $3.5 billion, nowhere close to the $5 billion Landmark Communications had set as its asking price. [WSJ]
