Idle Chatter: Microhoo Redux; No Ottoway Out

-Microsoft is planning to take another pass at Yahoo, provided it can convince Time Warner or News Corp. to partner in a bid. [WSJ]

-News Corp. has decided against selling the Ottaway group of community newspapers, which it acquired last year in its Dow Jones takeover. [E&P]
