Idle Chatter: Birth, Death, and Newspaper Cuts

Bidding among magazines including People and OK! for the first photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's twins could reach $15 million, says New York Post media writer Keith Kelly. [NY Post]

Speaking of the impending birth, Entertainment Tonight may have made a big mistake by reporting it has already happened. The New York Times says an impostor claiming to be the actress's assistant misled some news organizations. [NYT]

Canada's largest daily, the Globe & Mail, tweaked its Saturday business section by dropping stock listings altogether and replacing them with analyses of certain sectors or companies. [Guardian]

The first of an inevitable slew of YSL tribute tomes, a new biography — Yves Saint Laurent: l'Homme Couleur de Temps, with a preface by the late designer — will be unveiled next week in Paris. [WWD]
