Idle Chatter: Please Let David Blaine Go on Strike

-Many TV dramas appear to have suffered in the ratings as a result of the writers' strike. [NYT]

-Observer Media is out of the running for Newsday. Of course, Cablevision was, too, at one point, and now they're leading the pack with a $650 million bid. [NYT]
