Raging and Whining at Those Nasty Bloggers
What is it about the blogosphere that drives MSM writers batty? Ponder that as you watch this clip of Friday Night Lights author Buzz Bissinger losing it on HBO's Costas Now. The target of his irrational fury: Deadspin editor Will Leitch.
Bissinger admits to not being a regular blog reader, but says he "watched" Deadspin before going on the show to get the flavor.
"I think that blogs are dedicated to cruelty. They're dedicated to dishonesty. They're dedicated to speed," he says. "It really pisses the shit out of me." Clearly!
Meanwhile, The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg got his first taste of the blogosphere yesterday, and he didn't like it one bit.
