-The judge in the Harry Potter Lexicon case really doesn't want to have to make a ruling. [AP]

-Joe Simpson is trying to get a tabloid to pay him $1 million for photos of his pregnant daughter, Ashlee, and of the baby, when it arrives. [P6]

-An appeals court judge said he won't dismiss Clear Channel's lawsuit against the banks that are trying to back out of financing its $20 billion sale to two private equity firms. [Reuters]. □
