Fox Biz Gets 'Exclusive' Sloppy Seconds

If you watch a lot of business news on cable, you know that there's a real problem with inflation...in the meaning of the word "exclusive."

Fox Business used the E-word to hype Alexis Glick's interview this morning with Harvard professor Martin Feldstein, former chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors under Ronald Reagan. (You can watch the video here.) But that's taking a pretty narrow definition of "exclusive," since Feldstein's last interview was a mere 19 hours earlier, on CNBC's Street Signs.

Of course, 19 hours is better than the four minutes of exclusivity CNBC enjoyed on an Arnold Schwarzenegger interview last month -- but then, at least CNBC was first in that case.
