Pulitzer Prizes: Washington Post Takes 6

The list of 2008 Pulitzer Prize winners and finalists was just announced. The Washington Post claimed the most awards, with six. It won the Public Service medal for its exposé of substandard conditions at the Walter Reed Army Hospital.

The New York Times won two awards, for investigative reporting and explanatory reporting.
