Hef Bills Shareholders for Cost of 'Girlfriends'

One nice thing for Hugh Hefner about having a hit reality show in The Girls Next Door: It lets him charge the cost of his girlfriends' upkeep to the company.

Footnoted.org points out that the most recent 10-K from Playboy Enterprises includes a line item stating the cost of food, housing and "personal benefits" for Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson -- the three interchangeable blonds who comprise Hefner's harem. (It's the first time Playboy has reported the expense, even though the show's been around since 2005.)

That comes out to $133,000 per girlfriend -- which is not nearly enough compensation for enduring the sexual advances of a 77-year-old man, when you think about it. Those gals should go work for the Emperors' Club.
