Idle Chatter: NBC Not for Sale, Hulu Launches...

-GE chairman Jeffrey Immelt says you can ignore those rumors about a possible sale of NBC Universal, because it ain't gonna happen. [NYT]

-Speaking of NBC, Hulu, its video-on-the-web joint venture with Fox, launches tomorrow. [Reuters]

-The New York Times broke the story of Eliot Spitzer's prostitution scandal on its website, which promptly crashed under a Drudge-enabled traffic surge. [Huffpo]

-CNBC was the first cable news network to air the Spitzer news, beating CNN, Fox and MSNBC. [TV Newser]

-Was Hillary Clinton's "3 a.m." ad really about race, not experience? [NYT]
