-Will improved returns at HSN smooth the way to a rapprochement, or at least an amicable parting of the ways, between Barry Diller and John Malone? [WSJ]

-The Huffington Post is closing in on 8 million visitors per month, according to "a source at the company." [Silicon Alley Insider]

-Alpha Media, the new parent company of Maxim, has hired Glenn Rosenbloom, formerly of Disney Publishing, as president. Meanwhile, Maxim publisher Rob Gregory has been cut loose, as predicted here. [NYP]. □
