Duly Quoted: 'Comedy at the Edge' Book Party

"A few things I want to say about Richard Zoglin, who got me high, fucked me in the ass and wrote this fucking filth about me... This fucking cocksucker got me so drunk one night, I thought I was blowing e.e. cummings by the time the night was over."

-Comedian Richard Belzer, toasting Time editor Richard Zoglin at the party for his book Comedy at the Edge: How Stand-Up in the 1970s Changed America. Jerry Seinfeld, Robert Klein, Charles Grodin and Danny Aiello were all in attendance. Also on hand was Zoglin's wife, Charla Krupp, who has her own book on the best-seller list right now.
