People Mover: EIC Out at 'XXL,' But Not 'Interview'

Gawker reports that longtime Interview editor Ingrid Sischy has left the magazine. If that's true, however, they know more than her assistant, who answered her line when I called. Sischy, he said, is on vacation in South Africa; she is not, however, leaving Interview. (An Interview spokeswoman adds that Gawker's report is "completely not true" and that Sischy will be back in the office next week.)

Meanwhile, Elliot Wilson, editor in chief of hip hop title XXL, has been let go, according to Media Mob. Fortunately, Wilson's not the sole breadwinner in his family; his wife, Danyel Smith, is the editor in chief of rival title Vibe.
