Goldman Revises Ad Spend Forecast Way Down

If you want to feel depressed over the state of the media economy, check out the latest forecast from Goldman Sachs analyst Peter Appert.

He says 2008 will be the newspaper industry's worst since 2001, with ad spending falling 7.9 percent year-over-year. That's down from an earlier forecast of a 2.6 percent decline.
