Hitchens Celebrates a 'Very Secular' Christmas

Leave it to the most fun political magazine out there to have the only holiday party you might actually want to attend.

Reason will celebrate "a very special, very secular" Christmas at its Washington, D.C., headquarters on Monday night. Special guest Christopher Hitchens will provide the evening's entertainment with a "dramatic reading" of Tom Lehrer's anti-holiday ode "A Christmas Carol," according to the invitation.

A fierce atheist, Hitchens expressed his feelings about the annual celebration of Christ's birthday two years ago with a column that concluded "[G]od damn them. God damn them everyone."
