Blogging the Viacom Protest from Inside

One reason it's unwise for media companies to mistreat their employees: Sooner or later, they're going to write about it.

Today, for the second consecutive day, Viacom freelancers walked out to protest the conglomerate's abrupt curtailment of benefits, and the Best Week Ever blog -- operated by Viacom's VH1 network -- was on the scene.

"You may have already heard about this, but me and many of my co-workers received an extra-special Christmas bonus from our parent company Viacom this year: significantly reduced benefits!" writes Alex Blagg. "Yay!"
