Imus Pal: Slur Was 'a Positive' for Victims

Don Imus isn't even back on the air yet, and already the members of his posse are dialing up the offensiveness.

Imus bud Bo Dietl, who's slotted to be a guest on Monday's comeback broadcast, tells Page Six today that being called "nappy-headed hos" was actually good for the black college athletes who were the butt of the slur.

"[It] brought attention to that Rutgers basketball team. They really benefited," he says. "It turned out to be a positive thing."

So much for remorse. Wonder if all those folks rushing to get back on Imus's good side know what they're in for?
