-CBS didn't cancel its debate because of strike worries -- but the Democratic National Committee did. Better luck next time, Katie. [LAT]

-One way or another, the F.C.C. will see to it that Sam Zell gets to take over Tribune Co. [LAT]

-Hannah Storm is stepping down as co-anchor of the CBS Early Show after five years. [Reuters]
