Idle Chatter: McCain, Bob Woodruff, Facebook...

-In a new ad, John McCain boasts that he was in a Vietnamese prison while Hillary Clinton was at Woodstock. Related: Mitt Romney says he was also in a Vietnamese prison. [The Trail]

-"As the Post first reported," Microsoft is taking a 1.6 percent stake in Facebook, giving the social network site a $15 billion valuation. Of course, the Post actually reported that Microsoft would take a 5 to 10 percent stake, but whatever. [NYT]
