Imus Is Back, and Chatting with Babs
It's happening: Don Imus will be back on the radio starting Dec. 3, reports Matt Drudge.
"Top sources" say it's an eight-figure, multi-year deal with WABC. Imus will be on a 40-second delay to prevent him from uttering any more infelicities like the one that got him canned from CBS Radio and MSNBC in April. He'll discuss his comeback, and perhaps get a bit misty-eyed, on an upcoming Barbara Walters special.
"But who will his GUESTS be?" wonders Drudge. "WILL THE ELITES TURN THEIR BACK ON HIM?"
Good question. Keep an eye on this list to see if anyone who disavowed Imus in the heat of Nappy-Headed-HoGate comes crawling back when he/she has a book to shill.
