Idle Chatter Extra: Americans Pick Web Over Sex
Well, you can stop worrying about overpopulation. Clearly the human race is destined to peter out within a few decades now that people are giving up the pleasures of the boudoir to spend more time tapping out IMs and racking up Lindens in Second Life.
According to a survey by the ad agency JWT:
More than a quarter of respondents -- or 28 percent -- admitted spending less time socializing face-to-face with peers because of the amount of time they spend online.It also found that 20 percent said they spend less time having sex because they are online.
That reminds me, I need to update my Facebook page.
