Disney: Let Us Raise Your Baby
Disney chief Bob Iger is fightin' mad about the University of Washington study that concluded that maybe, just maybe, you shouldn't delegate your toddler's neural development to the DVD player.
Iger fired off a letter to the school's president accusing a university's "grossly unfair" news release of "blatantly misrepresenting" the study's findings. The inflammatory release in question suggested that parents "probably should limit the amount of time they expose their children to DVDs and videos" like the Disney-owned Baby Einstein series.
Iger's position being, apparently, that parents shouldn't limit how much time their 1-year-olds spend in front of a glowing screen. Nice.
