The Role of News in the Hedge Fund Economy

Paul Kedrosky picks up on a Bloomberg photo of hedge fund manager Adam Sender. By my count, he's sitting in front of no fewer than eighteen screens (although one, mercifully, seems to be switched off).

Also by my count, and with the proviso that I can't quite make out the screens on the far left which are angled largely away from the camera, the number of screens on which he's displaying any kind of news? You know, stuff written down by a human in English? Very much looks like it's zero.
