Stiglitz on DVD

I'm not a huge fan of the talking-head video as a way of imparting information: I find that old-fashioned text can nearly always impart much richer information much more quickly. On the other hand, some talking heads are better than others, and Joe Stiglitz has an engaging and eminently watchable rhetorical style, which helps a lot.

So for those of us who have neither the time nor the money nor the inclination nor the qualifications to sign up for his classes at Columbia, First Run Features has helpfully provided us with a two-DVD set of Joe Stiglitz's greatest hits, called "Where is the World Going, Mr. Stiglitz?". Excerpts can be found at the film's official site. Enjoy!
