The Epicurean Dealmaker

On Friday, I tried to take a stab at talking about fat tails and kurtosis. What I should have done, had I known about his blog then, was simply link to the Epicurean Dealmaker, whose blog entry on the subject is a model of clarity and clearheadedness. He's now on my blogroll, and I'm very much looking forward to everything else he writes.
