Santas Cry Foul Over Swine Flu

Now, here's something on Santa's wish list: a swine flu shot.

The Amalgamated Order of Real Bearded Santas, a group that represents all those department-store workers and volunteers, wants its 700 members to be put on the government's priority list for swine flu vaccinations. At-risk groups such as young children, seniors, and pregnant women are on the list now.

"Yes, we should be given the needle," the group's president Nicholas Trolli tells CBC News. "Many of our older members are being given it because they are in that high-risk status. But then there's the younger members that cannot get the shot. And they should get the shot, not so much as to protect the Santa but to help protect the public."

Hmmm. Good point.
