Today in the Art World...

At the London contemporary sales last October, it was Chinese art that really popped. Sotheby's is betting that this will hold true for its February contemporary sale in two weeks.

The Guerrilla Girls say that female and minority artists are underrepresented at BCAM.

With the hit the financial markets are taking, some art dealers are reporting "sluggish sales, hesitant clients and cancelled deals."
