Artworthy
Artworthy is a recurring feature that calls out exhibitions, fairs, and/or other art world events worth your precious free time. This weekend's pick...
Most people know Jasper Johns for his iconic flag painting or False Start, which David Geffen sold to Ken Griffin for $80 million in 2006. An exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York that opened this week is, though, focusing on the artist's use of the color gray in his work from the mid-1950s to the present. It'll be overcast, raining, and snowing in Manhattan this weekend. Might as well be indoors and contemplating a subject that suits the weather.
