Today in the Art World...

A former Samsung attorney is claiming that a slush fund set up by the company's chairman was used to buy more than $64 million worth of art for the chairman's wife and other family members.

M.F. Husain, a 92-year-old Indian artist, has been commissioned to make 99 paintings for the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, Qatar, which is set to open in March.

Damien Hirst's diamond-encrusted skull is in the news...again. This time because the State Hermitage Museum in Russia has announced that the piece, titled For the Love of God, will go on view there in March.
