The New York Times and Artnet.com look at Chinese art star Yue Minjun's first solo exhibition in the U.S.

Some perspective and figures in advance of the main events at Christie's and Sotheby's.

Tonight, the contemporary market gets its first big test at Christie's in New York. Lots to watch: Lucian Freud's Ib and Her Husband (estimate on request), Jeff Koons' Diamond (Blue) (estimate on request), and Andy Warhol's Liz, expected to fetch $25 million - $35 million.
